Last week, I found myself in Milan, Italy — surrounded by a group of extraordinary, heart-driven leaders from across the world.
We were there for a retreat called “Heal the Healer.”
And what unfolded was beyond anything I’ve experienced in my ten years of personal development and leadership work.
Mentored by Dr. Darren Weissman, founder of The Lifeline Technique and a pioneer in subconscious mind, I witnessed and personally experienced, a healing process so profound, it redefined how I understand human potential.
Even after five years of studying and practicing his work, running hundreds of sessions, and receiving countless more… this week humbled me.
Because I realized something that changed the game for how I lead, heal, and teach:
We have only scratched the surface of what the subconscious mind can really do.

If you want to be emotionally intelligent, you must understand your subconscious. Most people treat it like an enemy — something to control, silence, or override.

The subconscious isn’t your saboteur — it’s your most loyal protector. When you align with it, you unlock your deepest power. When you fight it, you stay stuck in repeating loops.

You can’t talk about the subconscious without talking about heart coherence.
In neuroscience, this is measured through Heart Rate Variability (HRV) — a marker of how resilient and adaptable you are to stress. The higher your HRV, the more emotionally intelligent and resilient you become.
So how do you cultivate heart coherence?
By doing three simple things:
1️⃣ Focus your awareness on your heart space.
2️⃣ Slow your breathing into a rhythmic pattern.
3️⃣ Hold positive emotions like love and gratitude.
And if you amplify that with intentional affirmations like “Infinite love and gratitude,” the effects multiply.
This why we called this the secret sauce of The Lifeline Technique. They are not just empty words, they are the words of power that harmonizes the relationship between your conscious and subconscious, between your brain and your heart.
Because biologically speaking, your heart isn’t just a pump. It has 40,000 sensory neurons — meaning it thinks independently.
So when people say, “Don’t think with your heart,” they couldn’t be more wrong.
The heart is intelligence, just not the kind our minds can quantify or described. It’s the source of intuition, creativity, and imagination — the very forces that move humanity forward.

🌱 What Healing Really Means
The real healing work we did in Milan wasn’t about “fixing” anything.
It wasn’t about removing pain or bypassing emotion. It was about staying present — sitting with the discomfort, meeting our vulnerabilities with compassion, and allowing what no longer serves us to let go of us.
We didn’t let go. We raised the energy level of our consciousness. And because everything in our world is governed by energy, what doesn’t vibrate at our highest level of consciousness naturally falls away on its own.
Letting go happened through us just like what Bucky had mentioned, “You cannot change existing reality by fighting it but to create a new paradigm that make the old obsolete.”
And in that space, something beautiful emerged:
Emotional awareness. Resilience. Agility.
And a deep remembrance of our divinity.
Because healing isn’t about becoming more, it’s about becoming whole.
🥁 Some lessons demand to be lived.
Not every lesson can be learned through books, theories, or strategy. Some lessons demand to be lived and for you to walk into unfamiliar territory and let it change you.
Heal the Healer reminded me that transformation is not about getting rid of pain, fear and stress but to remember who you truly are.
When you align your subconscious mind with your heart, you stop fighting yourself and start leading from your natural state of coherence, creativity, and love.
I came home from Milan a different person — clearer, stronger, and more equipped to face life’s challenges with grace.
